Clean Coast Outer Hebrides is an environmental charity whose mission is to protect the coastline of the Outer Hebrides. Their vision is to end coastal pollution around the islands. They engage tourists and the local community, lead beach cleans, deliver educational outreach sessions to schools and community groups, and host environmental discussions. A new display trailer will help this group reach new audiences and support beach cleans across the outer islands.
In 2021/22 the marine element of the Nature Restoration Fund was administered by the SMEEF team. This enabled grants to reach more marine focused projects including CCOH.
