A native oyster nursery is being established to cultivate 100,000 native oysters per year for three years, to regenerate the depleted oyster beds in Loch Broom, Little Loch Broom and Old Dornie, Achiltibuie. This project aims to empower local communities, create a pool of trained experts and generate interest in marine protection in the area.
